GAD worry is disproportioned to the situation and tends to persist for significant lengths of time, increasing and decreasing in intensity.

Common Symptoms:

  • Thoughts of impending doom
  • Sweaty palms
  • Nausea or butterflies
  • Diarrhea
  • Tension or jumpiness
  • Restlessness
